From one van to a multi-industry group

In February 2023, Azores Group launched in Newcastle upon Tyne as a dedicated logistics franchise partner. The ambition was never small. Within months, the team began laying the groundwork for something far bigger — a diversified conglomerate that could serve communities, businesses, and individuals across multiple sectors.

Today, Azores Group operates four distinct business divisions, each built with the same founding principle: deliver excellence, without compromise.

"I didn't start Azores Group to be the biggest. I started it to be the most impactful — for our customers, our people, and the communities we serve. Everything we build has a purpose behind it."

When I launched Azores Group in February 2023, I had one van, one logistics partnership, and an ambition that didn't fit neatly on a business plan. The North East of England is a region of extraordinary grit — and it deserved a company that matched it.

Our first chapter was logistics. Reliable, punctual, built on trust. But I always knew it was just that — the first chapter. The industries I was operating in — food supply chains, digital infrastructure, software development — were all crying out for the same thing: operators who actually cared about quality and customer outcomes.

Fish on Wheels was born from a gap no one was filling: premium, authentic seafood from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Sri Lanka — delivered same-day, not trucked across the country half-stale. Azores Technologies came from watching businesses haemorrhage money on IT they didn't understand and didn't need. Azores Developers was our answer to the sea of mediocre digital agencies. And Gastronomy — well, you'll see.

We are not finished. We are barely warmed up. Every division we build is a statement: that ambition, integrity, and honest hard work still win. That Newcastle can be the home of something genuinely great.
